ABOUT THE MATERIALS
Please note that all coasters are made from natural slate or solid machined timber; and as such will exhibit unique marks chips and features around the edges; and machining marks and joins may be visible on the wooden coasters. We see this as part of the life of the material, but if you have a preference for a particular look then we can try to select the best coasters for you before adding your chosen artwork. Please just let us know when placing your order!
Whilst every effort is made to ensure the product is consistent with the images each time, subtle variations in engraving depth and shade of the finished product may still occur due to natural density changes in the grain and materials affecting laser depth and the staining process. We don't see this as a bad thing: but feel this makes each and every piece that little bit more unique! If you have a preference for a darker or lighter coaster shade please let us know and we can apply additional coats of stain on naturally lighter variations. -------------------------
